Had to consult the the hubby on who the hell the "Krankies" were... but still quite entertaining to a lifelong Bowie fan.
Anywhere but straight.

Wee Jimi Kranki. Superb I'd forgotten all about those 80s nutters... Husband and Wife combo where the wife was always dressed up as a 50s school boy and talked in dodgy scotish accents... Something very wrong with that!! Very funny all the same.

Fohls- what are you talking about- wee Jimmie has and always will be a little boy. I don't know, for years and year, friends (and psychiatrists) have been trying to tell me that wee Jimmy is in fact Ian's wife, Jeanette Tough.

I know the truth!!!

It's frightning to think of the psycological trauma those two caused the 80's generation! You need to seek help :P

Sorry, posted that too quickly there

Not only did I love Crackerjack, but I also had the erm, 'pleasure' of seeing Stu Francis in an 80s show last year. Funnily enough, the theatre was half empty, despite the fact that the acts included Mr Francis, the Krankies (of course) and Bucks Fizz! We had front row seats and Stu Francis took a shine to my friend's husband and ended up sitting on his knee. I'll say no more, I can see I am digging an even wider hole for myself here. Suffice to say, the evening was fandabbiedozie!
