If you've busted the 12 month limit from the time of first entry to Singapore then your UK license is no longer valid and you are supposed to do the entire driving lessons to obtain a license.

Not Sure about 12 months

Post by bizcatalyst » Sat, 11 Jun 2005 1:14 pm

am not sure about the 12 months limit. Yr UK license should be valid if you are a visitor in Singapore. But, if you are a resident in Singapore, you are BREAKING the LAW. Not Supposed to drive with a foreign driving license.
I took my Basic Theory Test after I have resided in Singapore for 10 years. So, I am not sure about the 12 months limit.
Good luck.
