ladies and gentlemen,

I too hope to be a cabin crew. I went for several interviews conducted by different airlines. however, i never get shortlisted, except for once...many many years ago which i eventually gave up for my studies.

now, i go for sia, emirates, jal and silkair interviews. each time i went, my friends and other candidates always comment me as very very good...." i think u will get in..." blahblah...but i never.... i dun dink i look ugly, not gorgeous as well...somewhere in mid range...i just dunno why im not shortlisted...anyone can help mi over here?

I speak relatively good english...least i thot so...

i studied in aussie...even the aussies think i speak very good english

OK... that just wasn't obvious from your post.

You may have to consider that there is some criteria you don't meet. For example, did you know that many police forces will not accept recruits whose IQ is above a certain level?

So, it may be that you are too smart, or they feel you might get frustrated being a waitress 30,000 feet in the air (beats me why everyone wants so badly to serve food and drink in cramped quarters).

If your interested in airlines, maybe try for a non flight position and then work your way up.

I really am not trying to be mean here but that compliment is used very frequently by Westerners on Asians / Singaporeans who speak in a manner they can vaguely decipher.

I can understand why, though.

But I digress. Carry on.
