Advice on Projection TV anyone?
Given the mind boggling of choices out there nowadays will need a favour from all the folks here.

Any advice on which projection tv is good to buy?

Really don't know what to choose given some many brands, sizes and technologies!

My short list will be Toshiba, Sony, Philips or Panasonic ?
Ideal size 43".

Really loss with all the different genre.:
1. CRT projection TV
2. Hi-res CRT projectionTV
3. LCD projection TV

Moreover, they have 100hz scanning",,"DRC-scanning"..and "hyper-progressive" modes...help really lost. Is it really worthwhile to invest another $600 to $700 for a 100hz set?

Views, any?

If you hv the budget, get Sony, it has the best resolution. For me, I bought Samsung, which I feel is 2nd best after Sony in terms of resolution. It's much cheaper than Sony. I compared the rest of the brands with Samsung and they didn't come close. I've no regrets on Samsung. Go to the showroom and compare for yourself and you know what I mean. Cheers mate..

Projector. Something like Sony HS50. It will give you much larger picture and if you can keep the room a bit dark (btw needed for those tvs also) then the picture is MUCH better.
