Solidify this board's lead in the apparently thriving "how can I become a stewardess" area and create a separate forum just for the pressing questions of these legions of applicants. Sub-forums could be-
"got specs - SIA will accept or not?"
"got scars meh, SIA want hire me?"
"SIA never reply me leh, why like that?"
"Engrish not so good, SIA got problem?"
"Very short short one, SIA still interview me mah?"

And you wonder why SIA is no longer the Number 1 Airline? Judging from the quality of applicants it's no wonder.

Finally, someone had voiced out about this 'SIA' or flight-stewarding posting! It was getting boring seeing those repeated posts. No wonder foreigners have the impression that 'all' girls in SIN only strived to be air-stewardess! And please, girls, write properly if it is English language you're attempting to communicate. It's not even amusing to look at your posting in Singlish. Don't you girls know when to draw the line between seeming dumb-witted and funny?!!!

well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that is repulsed. Some local girls love to'act cute' and I just hate that. (equivalent to the dumb blond)
Useful webby for expats: Blog of nice things you can find in Singapore costing below $2. Updated very regularly.

Being serious now - my issue is that these girls seem so utterly useless and helpless when they have to turn to a internet message board (and 'singaporeexpats' at that!) to ask the most simple and basic questions like "how do I apply for the job". I'm trying to imagine them dealing with an emergency situation on the aircraft. Hell, some of them I can't imagine being able to direct me to the nearest onboard toilet. And then, the post is pushing 100 pages, with THE SAME questions asked over and over again. They are too lazy to read through and find the answers to their questions. Totally pathetic. I hope they are all hot, otherwise life will be a hard road for them.
OK, I'm finished.

The moderators could try to be proactive and designate a forum for them or something. Half of the threads here are repeats on Singapore Airlines. It's getting annoying IMHO.
