Warhammer 40k/Games Workshop

Hi,
We are considering relocating to Singapore with our 14 year old son. His hobby is Warhammer 40k and War machine: both tabletop wargames that used to be played at Games Workshop. I understand that Games Workshop has now closed in Singapore and wonder if these games are still played there. We are currently in Hong Kong and private business took over the shops here and continue to run them under another name (Fun Atelier), does anybody know if anything similar has happened in Singapore?

I will ask my 14 yr. old about this tomorrow, if I remember! I seem to remember he said something about Warhammer earlier this year. He was involved with Warhammer in Australia and sold his stuff before moving here in December.

Thanks, that would be great. Also, how is your son settling in and which school have you opted for? We moved from Sydney to Hong Kong 18 months ago and our son was not very happy with that. However, he has now settled and is not overly keen to move again, hence the wish to find the things he enjoys are also in Singapore.

Humm... I think these games are played in some game shops in Singapore. One is at The Emerald Shopping Centre in Somerset. Correct me if I'm wrong..
Useful webby for expats: Blog of nice things you can find in Singapore costing below $2. Updated very regularly.
