BEIJING - China has refused a request from Japan to stop its exploration
in bitterly disputed gas fields in the East China Sea, as two days of
talks on the issue ended yesterday, a Japanese official said.

"The Japanese side asked the Chinese side to stop their work because it
might have some effect on Japanese territory - China might get the
Japanese gas resource located on the Japanese side. But the Japanese side
did not get a satisfactory answer from China," said a Japanese official.

This is quite correct, and why one may ask! because no area borders have been agreed upon at sea between the two countries, Why should China stop, when a satisfactory solution is also attainable by means of discussion, if not then there will be a problem!

China is a world leader and like USA, likes to flex its muscle now and then
and why not, within time USA and the rest of the world will be cowering at the feet of China, and who will be responsible for the rise and fall.

The greed of governments wishing to trade with a nation of over 1Billion, will have turned the tables of world powers.

one of my China friend in school said that in China if everybody pees, it could flood Japan. T_T;; can it be true. hmmm...

even if Japan do not have the population, can it be compared to the technology it has in Japan?? and my China friend said, who cares about technology nowadays?? hmmm...... now i know why in china some toilets do not have doors

China's toilets in some of its cities are getting better. Some are fully auto.
They have the advantage in their population and they are catching up very rapidly. But Japan has a very cohesive workforce and advance technologies which China lacks. We would certainly hope both countries can progress and contribute to worldpeace.
