Relocating and looking for work

Post by egenteka » Tue, 31 May 2005 11:21 pm

Hi everyone

We are moving to Singapore because of my husband's job. I am finishing up my PhD in molecular biology and evolution very soon. Any chance of me landing a job there? We are Greek-Canadian though, is that ok? Any response will be appreciated.

Being Greek-Canadian will definitely not affect your ability to live here. Don't worry!

With a PhD I suppose you can apply for a assistant professorship at NTU or NUS or a teaching position at one of the many private institutions / polytechnics here.

I forgot to mention that the new Semester starts in July for most tertiary instututions and many are expanding their faculties, so now is a good time to apply for a position.
