Moments of regrets and embarrassment

Post by Kimi » Fri, 27 May 2005 8:25 pm

A moment of embarrassment:
Spilled things out with my big mouth when I'm pissed in which case I wasn't!

What I can remember when I was in Japan:
Snorted while laughing in front of a former flatmate, his GF, and his friend whom he seemed to want to matchmake me with *sigh* *blush*
Arrrggghhh, I usually giggle, damn it!

A moment of regret:
I should've drunk that wine to have an excuse by now

Ok, time to spill your being taken the piss moments!
Oh and what you did to save face! 8)

For mine above...blimey, I am doomed not to be able to look at them into their eyes!

Pissed and totally out of it, I opened my back door of the apartment, and went down the stairs, this was in another Country, the toilet was actaully outside the apartment, anyway the wind blew the door shut, 3.a,m in the morning and I'm stood there bollock maked!!!

My neighbour who was a young lady in her 30's had all the spare keys to the apartments, I had no option but to wake her up, God the look on her face to see me stood there naked!

All I could do was apologise, and she replied You don't have to go to that extreme to get to know me. Sheepishly I went back to my bed.

From a newspaper column by Kathleen Parker:

Televangelist Pat Robertson's flip-flop on his fantasy moment as an international assassin reminds me of a famous, if possibly apocryphal, story about David Niven as told by Christopher Buckley.

Niven is standing with another gentleman at the base of a staircase as two ladies in evening gowns descend.

Niven says: "That's the ugliest woman I've ever seen."

Other man replies: "That's my wife."

Niven: "I meant the other one."

Other man: "That's my daughter."

Niven: "I didn't say it."
