Hi peeps! I'm glad I found this site. I have a lot of questions about Singapore. Let me tell you a bit about me. I'm 23 and I'll be working in Sing for 3 years as a marketing executive in a non gov org. I heard alot about Singapore, its a "fine country" as we all know.. But I really don't know what to expect. By the way I'm Filipino. There are three things I need to know about. Maybe you can give me some insights or advices so I would be able to prepare and won't get shocked as soon as I get there. That will be on the 22nd of June. Let me give you a rundown.
1) Cheapest apartments or rooms and where to find them. ( Numbers& Addresses).
2) Cost of basic commodities ( food...etc)
3) Clubs or organizations where I could get to meet new friends.
