IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

I was at 1 Nite Stand on Wednesday night after the comedy and had ordered a Pizza with a coupleof my friends, we were enjoying our pizza with the usual condiments ie, tabasco sauce, parmesan and chilli flakes when we realised that there were creepy crawly bugs on the pizza! Upon Close inspection, we realised that they came from the chilli flakes! The chilli flakes were absolutely crawling with the bugs and tiny larvae! It was absolutely disgusting as we had already ingested a slice each.

The Manager a Blonde Caucasian lady came over BARELY apologising, in a very High brow manner offered that we either accept a new pizza and pay for the one which we partially consumed, or that the pizza we ingested with the bugs in them was complimentary. I used to enjoy going to 1 Nite Stand because of the Music and the Service, but if the Manager sets this kind of example for her staff, it won't be long before 1 Nite Stand shifts out. The day later, one of my mates had to go to the Doctor's for Diarrhoea. She had to pay for the consultation fees as well as the medication. This is just a warning to anyone who is considering going to 1 Nite Stand. I'm not saying don't go. All I'm saying is that, in the Dimly Lit eating area, keep your eyes peeled for bugs that might be in your condiments or food. Sure, there is a danger for this sort of thing happening in any Restaurant, but having experienced it in 1 Nite Stand, if they can make the mistake once, I don't think that it is impossible that they can't make the same mistake again.

Well, below is kind of a tongue in cheek poll. Feel free to air your views.

Chilli flake monsters too!!!

Hey Fuz182,

Still waiting for your follow up on the monday drinking session but DUDE!!!i had the same freaking experience when i was at 1 night stand sometime back!!

I was putting chilli flakes on a particular dish when i realised that there was some weird stuff having a field day on my food! The same manager(from the way you describe her) came over and seemed rather unapologetic about the whole affair.

I thought that they would have done something about it,apparently not! now more than ever i wont be heading down to that bar anymore.

You can inform the Ministry of Environment to do a check on the place.

I think if this happened in Australia, the establishment would be facing a lawsuit.

But we were kinda foolish... they took away the chilli flakes and we didn't get to take pictures of the bugs. I'm afraid that even if we complained, the Ministry wouldn't find anything there when they went down because they establishment would have already prepared for it, or stepped up on it's cleanliness albeit temporarily.

I 've seen some real shit in the uk, I'm a brit myself, butr would you believe the majority working class cannot afford to have showers installed, and bath only once a week to save on the water bills.

Who are the guys that run the club? Even then, I'm not certain how that would pan out either because they just might take the side of their own staff. Well, I'll check out their website and drop their owner an e-mail.
