Ideas for Massage during Flight Layover

Post by FromUSAtoSriLanka » Fri, 27 May 2005 3:59 am

Hello! I am planning a trip to Sri Lanka, which includes a 9 hour layover in Singapore. Is it realistic to plan a massage during this layover? If so, would you recommend a particular place? I would like a professional place that offers table massage, thai massage, and reflexology. It does not need to be fancy but the therapist needs to be very good. Ideally the venue would have a shower so I could freshen up before my final flight.

Can you give me advice about how to get from the airport to a massage place or another place of interest? What would you do with such a short time to enjoy Singapore?

Thank you!

Get on the hop on tour bus, if it departs from the airport. Check out:

I've heard of a massage facility at Changi but not sure. I suppose the best massage services would be in the city. Raffles Hotel has a good massage facility.

There used to be a massage service at the transit hotel in Changi Airport Terminal 1 when I was working there a few years ago, not sure if it's still there. Worth a check.

There is also a pool and gym in the airport too, should you decide on a workout/swim.
