Serious Problem !

I am an IT specialist from India. A few months ago, I had receieved an offer from a IT firm in Singapore. They applied for my EP which was approved by MOM. However, the project for which I was being hired never materialized and I never joined the company and did not travel to singapore.

Now, I have another job offer in Singapore. But my new potential employer cannot successfully get my EP approved because I already have one with the above mentioned firm.

That firm is not ready to cancel my EP or issue a No-objection letter.

I have a copy of approval in principle letter from MOM. How can one make this null and void.

Is there any way I can get a new EP? Please Advise.

ring MOM and find out what you can do. Call the company you were going to work for and rant, rant, RANT till they do their bit and cancel that EP. My understanding though is that because you have not picked it up, it's not valid.

Go to Singapore High Commission in India, get your EP Cancelled with your first employer - giving reasons. Then ask the other employer to re apply.

EP Can be rejected by either party, even otherwise - In Principle Approval of an Employment Pass is valid for six months only. Is it already six months since u recieved the IPA from Immigrations?
