Where to live in Singapore

Hi,

Myself and my husband are moving to Singapore and are a little confused about which place in Singapore we need to look for housing (my husband's office address is One Raffles Link). We are interested in renting an apartment or condo with facilities such as a gym etc. with a budget of around S$1500 (is this reasonable)? Would it be better to look for a HDB flat or private condo in this range? Any assistance on these terms would be really helpful.

You'll be able to find a private condo for S$1500 per month. It may not be very close to your husband's office, but so long as you are walking distance to an MRT station or bus stop you'll be fine --- and, even if you are not, taxis are generally easy to get and pretty inexpensive.
