House hunting in Singapore

Post by Manita » Thu, 26 May 2005 8:45 pm

Hi,

we are moving to Singapore and were looking for some tips on how to hunt for a house once there. Do we need to approach an agent? if yes, what is the average commission we need to pay them? Are there any recommended agents?

Thanks

Based on your query, please refer to:

Q: Is there any agency fee or commission if I engage SingaporeExpats.com or any other realtor in Singapore for my housing search, documentations and other assistance?

Yes and No. If the rental amount of the apartment / house you are renting is above $2,500, no agency fees will be payable by the tenant. If the rental amount is exactly $2,500 or less, the fee payable will be half a month's rent and above.

We would be able to assist you in search of a suitable apartment/ house, kindly contact the Leasing Department at +65 61000 300 or email: [email protected] with your requirements.
