Cos the 5th Women's World Floorball Championships are in town!!
Real cool!! Starts this weekend ... 28 May - 5 June 2005!!

18 teams from all over the world are gonna be down .. Sweden, Norway, Switzerland.. top teams are all going to be down I hear.
They be playing at ITE East and Woodlands Sports Hall.
Finals will be at the Singapore Indoor Stadium..

For those also wondering what to do over the weekend -
check out the 6th NTUC Netball Super League!

These chicks are hard core .. solid fast paced action. The league's almost into the semi-finals, and a couple of teams are tied for points to see who goes to the semis. Some nail-biting games and serious upsets in the previous rounds... quite exciting

The games are playing at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall... Its air-conditioned.. and admission is free! Good for a hot weekend..

Finals are on the 18th June.
