My hubby has accepted a job in singapore. We should be there by first week of july. The employers will be covering us and our 10 month old baby. My inlaws are planning to join us as soon as we get settled in and will be staying with us for 6 months to a year. My father in law is 66 and mom in law is 58 years old. I wanted to inquire what kind of health insurance should we buy for them.?Should we get it from our home country ( India) or should we buy it in singapore? My hubby will be having an employment pass and baby and me are on dependent pass.Parents will be coming here on a long term visit pass.
Thanks in advance

Hi. I have exactly the same question. So far, what I have learnt from people who are already here is to get travel insurance for parents for the first 3 months or so, and if they stay longer, get local medi insurance. Still trying to figure out what is covered/cost etc. Any inputs are welcome.

Hi,
for health insurance, there's different type coverage. Some include outpatient while some do not and some has sub-limits on individual items like board and room, surgery, etc while some are base on annual limit and on claim basis. It aldo depends on your budget. Feel free to email me with details like type of coverage looking for and the DOB, occupation and sex gender and I will try to get something for your review.
Thanks
