Laptops - cheaper in Singapore or US?

Post by Newcomer » Tue, 24 May 2005 7:10 pm

I would be travelling to Singapore and US next month. I am interested in buying a laptop. Where would it be cheaper - US or Singapore?

Thanks.

Probably you will need to prepare one list of hardware that comes with the ideal laptop that you see in the US. Like that when you come to Singapore, you can make a comparison btw the specs here. You need to do some homework when you want to shop in Singapore.

Here are some reference for you. All in Singapore dollar.

It is pretty much of a toss up... I bought an IBM T42 here in Sing with Office Pro and checked prices in the US... within about $50... buy it whereever it is more convenient for you... and where you get the power cord you need without using an adapter.
