Yesterday went to East Coast, for my first bike ride with my two year old, she loved it, I didn’t!! the rental bikes are total cack, it was a front mounted seat so had to cycle with legs perpendicular to the bike.

I saw two new rental places with new bikes one in car park C4 and another in the refurbished "big splash joint"

Three question,

Does anyone know where I can rent decent bikes from? (Preferably on bike trails)

Has anyone tried a front mounted seat called the Ibert safe-T-seat it sits higher up so your knees are clear,

Does anyone else have recommendations of front mounted child seats.

Thanks

rental bikes are mostly of poor quality, why not buy a used one. I believe Treknology at Holland Grove Rd has some.

Front mounted ones, as in baby sits in front of your when you pedal?

They are better in that toddler does not have to put up with gravel and dust in addition to the sight of my straining and sweaty butt in her face.

So far the front mounted seats found here bang my knees.
