Which mobile phone provider - M1, SingTel or Starhub?

Post by Noriko_k » Sat, 21 May 2005 11:57 am

I just relocated to Singapore and was told that there are basically 3 mobile phone provider companies here.

Can anyone advise me which is better in terms of price plans, reliability and customer service?

I am a frequent outgoing caller, so what's the best deal around? :P

I have been a subscriber for Singtel for the last 8 years, they have one of the best networks around. Additionally, they blessed me with 360 free SMS every month some time ago, that's a real bonus.

The customer service is good, they pick up the calls quickly unlike other companies which I had to wait ages before the custoemr service picks up the phone...and you know how frustrating it can be during times or emergencies...

Hope this helps.

I will go for Singtel too! Great service and coverage. Althought the plans are pretty much competitive between the 3 but I still love Singtel. Starhub is favourable if u like the per second billing and M1...I only had one terrible incident with their customer service. :?

If you make tons of outgoing calls per month, consider signing up for a free incoming price plan with any of the telcos, and get a callback card. These call back cards allow you to call anybody at low rates of around 5 cents per minute, compared to 20 cents per minute (peak for some operators).

Find your favourite callback operator from [:: eNets' webpage ::]
