I recently got an appointment as a Project Officer in Nanyang Technological University. The initial contract is for 6 months and the offered salary is S$3150 per month. I have to send the Form 8 to the MOM for processing my Employment Pass. As I just have the offer letter from NTU now, I was wondering if this means that I will get an Employment Pass. It sounds naive but I wanted to know if it is certain that after getting your offer letter, you will have no problems with the immigration authorities in getting employment authorization.
I also had another question. I am planning to bring my wife along with me as well. She does not work. Is the salary good enough for both of us?
