Internship in Bank

Hi,
I am due to start work in an I-bank this coming July but I would really like to do an internship before that. I still have 1.5 mths of holidays and I really do not want to sit around doing nothing... Seeing as quite a few bankers visit this forum, I was wondering if any of you can suggest what I can do to make full use of my hols? Is it possible for me to land an internship in a bank at such short notice?

(By the way, just in case some of you are wondering, I tried asking my bank if I could start work earlier but was turned down)

Having worked in Int banking for 15+ years, I would say make the most of having some time off, go backpacking or bum around for the month and a half, once you get into "the rat race" a month and a half off is very unlikely if not impossible !!
