Unfortuantely I have had an accident with my laptop and totally smashed the LCD panel on my one year old 2gb machine.
To my amazement the computer still works perfectly on another monitor, but only in VGA mode.
why is this? when i try to start in normal mode, I just get a blank screen
Asus help centre do not know why it only starts up in this mode, the guy was actually baffled, he could only say that this model, is not made to be used with another monitor, which i believe is bullshit.
It must have something to do with the display adapter, but i have checked the driver is ok.
Any idea anyone
