why not make this as a plce where you tell your age so that it would be easy for people to find friends of the same age
Just put it in the format
day/month/year

Why does it matter whether or not people you chat with are the same age as you are? Very few of my good friends are actually the same age that I am -- some are younger, some are older, doesn't really matter.
