Bukit Gombak

Post by househunter » Fri, 13 May 2005 11:00 am

I was just wondering if anybody lives in this area and can tell me any of the good or bad points of the area.

From what I can tell it isn't the easiest place to get to the city etc.

Cheers.

Its quite a nice place actaully. with more then 3 nature reserves, eg the Gulin Mountain, etc.
I used to study there.
There are various eateries, Schools, Malls, and markets there.

West Mall, at bukit Batok, very near bukit gombak is quite a popular shopping malls.

Personally, I tink that bukit gombak is quite a friendly neighbour district.

Only drawn back is that going to the City such as Orchard etc is quite far.
But since Singapore is so small, the train ride will at most take 40min..

There are direct Buses to the city, but i m not sure about the travelling time, I think its ard half and hr at most. :D

Good Luck! :D
