how to obtain working visa?

Hey there
I'm currently living in the US and very interested to looking for a job in singapore. So, in order to obtain a working visa, what should I do? Do I need to travel to spore first? or can i process everything while im here?

if in US, find an agency to do it... but best if you can fly here first
