Anyone knows of any interesting or exciting places to visit in Singapore? I've been to Escape theme park, and it was nice.
Zoos, Birdparks are becoming boring for me.

Please define the terms 'interesting' or 'exciting' in your expectations. One man's meat is another poison - so what may be interesting for one may not be for you.

My husband is an austrian, so each time we visit my family in Singapore - I have to come up with 'interesting' places to go to in Singapore. Have you tried biking in Pulau Ubin? Have you tried trekking through the nature reserve in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve? Have you tried wining and dining on the bum-boats at nite? What about a day-trip with a boat out fishing in the southern islands? Science centre I heard is quite interesting altho' we have not had a chance to visit in the last 3 years as our 2-week stays were always packed with other programmes.

Well, we are about to relocate to Singapore (after MY 15 stint abroad) as a family...perhaps I'd be the one asking your question in the near future?

MacRitchie Reservoir has a great hiking trail running around it. Also there a tree top swing bridge so you can view the rainforest from above and there are loads of wild monkeys hanging about. Very nice day out, but take a lot of water with you.

Fishing trips?

Post by hjbf » Tue, 17 May 2005 7:24 pm

Where can I book a fishing trip and how much is it? Also, where can I rent a small sailing yacht in Singapore? Any pointers? Thanks in advance
