part time or full time?
For part time they usually pay by the hours and you have to apply directly with the schools.

For full-time, u have to go through MOE.
Qualifications and working expereince will affect pay for full-time teachers.

Are u a local or foreigner? Do you have a degree?
Did u major in a teaching subject?

PM me if u have more qn

Hi Grace,

I suggest you approach the International Schools via their websites. I know some of them are recruiting now. They pay much better and don't expect quite the same "pound of flesh" as the govt schools.

I know Chatsworth are looking for teachers for their new primary school.

I can't tell you exactly what they pay, since it will vary, but OFS, UWC are supposed to be "top payers" but expect a lot of extras, whereas some of the other schools will pay less, but you have less expectations too (good for people with families).
