Hi Julie,

It's a big move, but Singapore is an easy place to relocate to. US$3200/month (around S$4900) is plenty to live on with housing & utilities paid for. For us, utilities mean electric, gas & water. We then pay for our cell phones (S$180/mo), cable & internet (S$130/mo), house phone (S$30/mo), groceries (S$1200/mo), 1 car (S$1300/mo), taxis (S$300/mo), we have insurance with USAA to cover our goods at home and here with us (US$400/yr). You would still have about S$500 a week for spending money.

Hope this helps!
