Hi bro, could you pls give more details cos' it is very confusing on what you actually want. Just from my analysis, are you taking out the car cigarette lighting mechanism from the car and trying to use it at home? Logically yes, cos' the wiring to the lighter mechanism is 12V DC. Just buy one high current DC adapter from Sim Lim Tower and connect it accordingly to "+" and "-". Do not try using power adapter lower than 1A, might damage the adapter due to overloading.
