Hi,

would like to ask if anyone of you here experience cold sores? Care to share your experiences and how you dealth with it? Any good medication to recommend that can effectively curb cold sores?

yeah i've experienced cold sores before. they usually appear if i'm totally stressed out for days. aciclovir creams is pretty good, you should be able to get some off the counter at the pharmacy.

I doubt you can get a good medication off the counter.

becos if I have my medication are dr prescribed one.
My cold sores are usually occur on my lower lip.
usually, I have to take anti-botic for oral and cream for external use.
I tried to purchase it over the counter, they do not carry the one that my dr prescribed.
the weird thing is my cold sore will always be at the same location :cry:

It will happen at least twice a year if I having stress, lack of rest or used a lipstick and I have allergy.

Rubbish....of course you can get over the counter stuff....hmm, well you can get it in the UK, but I'm sure I got it when I lived in Singapore.

Called Zovirax, it's an acylovar medicine. Cream. You put it on when you get the first 'tingle' sign that these pesky colds are coming.

Be careful though....no oral sex cos it's the Herpes virus and could spread and give you genital herpes.
