I've looked everywhere in Singapore and can't find a single meat pie on sale. The only thing I've seen are the Sarah lee apple pies, but not the traditional mince meat pie we aussies love.
Anyone know of a supermarket or half-decent bakery that sells these?

Hi mate,
I tell you the best pies in Singapore are from a guy called Paul.. He does all sorts of varieties and delivers (Minimum order though), He used to have a cafe but has now moved and just operates from a another cafe kitchen somewhere..
You can email him on
[email protected] or call him @ 98XXXXXX
They are excellent !!!
You can also try some of his pies from some of the bars he supplies.. one of them is Lock,Stock & Barrel on Seah street next to raffles hotel...
Enjoy !!

Sqdateman,
I don't think that is going to help much, have you seen the date on the post above yours?

There is a good Aussie pie place on the south side of Bukit Timah Rd immediately east of the corner of Sixth Avenue, in a small row of shops.
I think it is called Piper's.
Even sells Lamington cakes.

Hi,

Loads more selection also

You can buy aussie pies in cold storage in the freezer section that are quite good.
The petrol station next to Jelita cold storage holland rd has the best pies in singapore and my husband is an aussie pie expert.
there is also an new pie shop that has just opened on bukit timah rd just before sixth ave, they have apple turnovers and vanilla slices.
