Obstetrician for Twin C-section

Post by aussiemeg » Tue, 19 Apr 2005 3:03 pm

Hi there everyone

We are moving to Singapore in August and my twins are due in November. Does anyone know who is the best obstetrician and what hospital to go to to have a c-section. Also how far in advance do I need to book into the hospital (in other words will August be too late?)

Many thanks for any help at all
Megan

Hi,

I had my c-section done by Dr Lee I Wuen of Raffles Hospital at end Dec 2004. All I can say is that she is really really good with her surgical handwork and within 24hrs, I was able to walk and my scar/stitches healed very very well (now only 3.5 months) - just a thin fine line (but that depends if your own skintype whether it will develop keloid or not). Believe me, I can do leg lifts and sit ups in about 3 months (but just that I am lazy... ) - I am truly glad I went to her and you can sense her own sincere satisfaction when she has done a good job. That's why I trust her decisions for me... Fyi, my labour was a long 30 hr.
