EP Pending

Post by LipsaPanda » Thu, 20 Nov 2025 12:40 pm

Hi all,

I received a job offer on 22 September 2025, and my educational verification took around 3 weeks (12 business days) to complete. After that, my Employment Pass (EP) application has been in “Pending” status for the last 6 weeks (29 business days).

Can someone guide me if this is normal?
• What usually happens after such a long pending period — does it typically get approved or rejected?
• Is there anything I should do at this stage, or just continue waiting?
• Has anyone faced a similar delay and what was the outcome?

Any insights or experiences would be really helpful. Thank you!

A pending EP for that long isn’t unusual, especially if MOM needs extra checks on background or quota. Some cases clear after several weeks without any updates. If the employer hasn’t been asked for more documents, the best move is usually to just wait and let them follow up directly with MOM. Outcomes vary, but long processing times don’t automatically mean rejection.
