Recommendations for Nails

Post by Matney » Mon, 18 Apr 2005 9:55 am

I have fingernails that just don't seem to grow much and when they do, they break. I am considering having nails put on, but unsure of where, cost, type of nails, etc. Can anyone help me out with my problem? Thanks! :)

My daughter doesn't have any nails--she bites them constantly. Any suggestions there?

I imagine any nail salon would be able to help you with that. You might also consider if you have a calcium/ vitamin deficiency and take supplements for that?

As for your daughter's habit - how old is she? You could try painting clear nail polish on her nails - the nasty taste might put her off biting.

Recommendations for Nails

As far as a nail salon, I thought maybe someone out there could give a recommendation of a place they were happy with, along with cost, etc..

My daughter is 12, and we have tried it all! Nasty tasting polish, taping tops of fingers, & wearing rubber gloves to bed. I thought maybe someone may have a tried and tested solution.

Thanks for your suggestions though.

I used to have weak & brittle nails until recently, I visited Vernis - The Nail Spa at Winsland House. The Nail Therapist has recommended Creative SolarOil treatment, it helps to promote stronger and healthy-looking nails. I bought a bottle of SolarOil as homecare which I apply daily. My nails have shown vast improvement and they're growing too! You can call 6836-8180 for a personal consultation. No harm trying.
