I am 32 and my husband is 41. We are both from Myanmar. No criminal record or bankruptcy. Housing is zero as we could not afford to buy condo and HDB is not eligible to buy under me alone. I am Bachelor degree holder from London and his education also Bachelor degree from Myanmar. We are staying together at my parents owned house which is 4 room and above HDB.
any advice from ur view or experience? based on my criteria above.
thanks for sharing your view. I hope my basic salary 4k per month seems enough for ICA to decide.Additionally I am staying in Parents owned HDB. Meanwhile, I know my nationality is not in favour.malcontent wrote: ↑Sun, 25 May 2025 2:23 amI believe the decision on LTVP will be more about income (ability for you to support both of you now, on your income alone, without the husband working). I don’t believe evaluation of LTVP uses the same criteria as PR. I’m sure someone will correct me if I am wrong about this.
In cases of sham marriages (does not apply to OP), they can scrutinise the spouse’s nationality even if the sponsor is earning enough. Some sham marriages still slip through though.malcontent wrote: ↑Sun, 25 May 2025 2:23 amI’m sure someone will correct me if I am wrong about this.

Hi KKJJ, hope you still read this thread. Congratulations on your Ltvp+ploc ! I'm kinda in same situation like you. My wife and I are both Viet in our early 30s. She's a PR while I'm on Spass. Our goal is also to get me a PR and we can buy resale and settle down in Singapore.
From what I read along and based on my social circle, you may have more chances for PR with her sponsor as your income is higher and your wife is nurse.snape17 wrote: ↑Wed, 20 Aug 2025 8:32 pmHi KKJJ, hope you still read this thread. I want to check with you a few questions if you don't mind sharing.
1) how long is your marriage before you apply for Ltvp+ploc for your husband ? ( Ours is pretty new, only about 6 months),
2) Which professions are you guys? My wife is public hospital nurse who was on MOH scholarship, I work for a hedge fund. I wonder if the jobs will increase our chances?
3) Income level ( hers is around 4k, mine is higher)
I don't know whether she should sponsor my PR application from Spass or we should follow you guys to do ltvp+ploc first ?
