Iam Chinese Indonesian, 24(as of this writing), recently got married to my Singaporean wife in Singapore, we have dated for 3 Years 8 months before we got married and got married last month(1 month into marriage, yeay !). We did our PMLA but, sadly, it was rejected, we don't exactly know the reason of the rejection but we do suspect that it is due to the fact that my Wife did not earn enough, according to ICA standards, my wife was earning 1.5k SGD ish per month, as a part time retail worker. Though now she has found a fulltime job which pays around 2k Ish per-Month. Since i don't want to put all the burden on her too, i found out that even after being married, i can still apply for a work pass instead of LTVP and build our life together like that, she's currently doing an additional diploma to have more opportunity to land on a higher paying job in the future. My main question is, what are the chances of our LTVP getting accepting in our current condition ? and Is it okay if i were to apply for a work permit first(if i were to ever landed on a job in singapore) and then change it to LTVP) once we do get our LTVP approved), will i get into trouble with the company iam working in ? and do any of you here have any advice on what we could be doing better. I'd love to hear any advices and take it into consideration. and feel free to ask more, i'd be happy to give more information as long as its not too personal. Thankyou for reading
