Scamshield

Is it a pretty useless app? If user doesn't report, then you won't know. So on their part, seems like they do not do anything other than wait for people to report potential scammers? :o

I used to feel that way, but ultimately, it's like any other app. Data needs to be put in before usefulness can show. I report almost all garbage I get. I also know that lots of stuff is being whacked before I can actually see it. My communications apps are much reduced in garbage now. If nobody puts the garbage into the system, the system cannot function. The operators are supposed to get the data from where? Users. If users don't use, then yes, the app is useless. I use it most of the time (sometimes when pressed for time I forget and just delete. Most I recognize without even opening up the message.

That make sense...i input all rubbish spam and scam calls and message to scamshield too. hoping our phones will receive less of these trash.

But I am just thinking why does it take a long for them to take action, there are numbers that have reached 80 or more complaints and they are still able to scam and spam users.
