Using previous medical report for PR IPA formalities

Post by Jian“zj” » Sun, 02 Feb 2025 7:48 pm

Hi all,

I'm please to inform that I have received IPA for my PR application. Can I just submit the previous medical report (issued within the last 2 years) that I submitted to MOM back in 2023, or do I still have to download the specific ICA form and get the GP to verify on this form that I clear TB and HIV?

If they're still using the same medical form, there's a portion there to declare that you had a medical checkup within 2 yrs for ICA / MOM and that you don't need to do medical checkup. But just a heads up, I saw a post before that someone did this and ICA is not able to see their medical report from MOM, so they had to go for a new checkup and re-sched their formalities.

Congratulations OP. May I know when you submitted your PR application?

I went ahead and submitted my old medical report that I submitted to MOM back in June 2023. Now I'm worried that was not the right thing to do and instead should have used the ICA form

Did you make your application with the newer ePR system (the nicer looking one)? I'm in the same predicament as you, also had my medical from MOM less than 2 years ago.

In the newer ePR one, you have the option to upload your old results.

I was in the same confusion but ICA asked me to resubmit (and so I had to reschedule my appt)

Thanks for the response. I have simply raised an enquiry to ICA regarding this matter along with the file I have.

Did you have to wait another 10 days for them to process your re-submission before rescheduling?

I created another feedback (via https://form.gov.sg/660cfb4827723506dfc226e3) notifying ICA that I have an updated medical exam report should the initial MOM Medical Report not suffice. Annoyingly, my exam result came minutes after I have submitted my old MOM Medical Report  (thankfully nothing wrong). I have not yet received any feedback from ICA about this.

I hope they accept the original upload though because the ePR clearly says we can indicate if we have taken any medical in the past 2 years to issue a pass (in which we just fill up the declaration part). Or at least notify me that they want a more recent result.

EDIT: I also submitted the actual file the medical provider gave (results and the MOM form), the MOM Notification Letter and the summary of the Notification Letter indicating the medical exam was used to issue my pass and it was not older than 2 years.
