LTVP Application for Spouse with Sponsor's PR REP Expires soon

Post by kuroneko » Tue, 28 Jan 2025 1:03 pm

Hi all,

Anyone here knows will there be a challenge to apply for a LTVPs for your spouse and child if you as the sponsor (a Singapore PR and the PR REP is going to expire in 3 months)?

If the LTVP is approved, does it mean the duration of the LTVP is tied to the sponsor's PR duration too?

Thank you all!

PR does not expire. As long as you remain in Singapore as a PR, you do not need REP. The timing of your REP renewal (on its own) should not impact this.

If you believe your REP renewal is at risk, then the underlying factors that have you worried about your REP will probably impact the LTVP as well.
