Finally got my Singapore Citizenship!

The following is the sequence:

1. Get final approval letter from ICA. This allows you to login to MyICA and book an oath taking appointment. You can change the appointment date multiple times depending on how it goes at Indian High Comm.
2. Apply for Renunciation at BLS. They will book at appointment at Indian High Comm for interview with the Passport Attached.
3. Attend the appointment at Indian High Comm
4. Approximately 1 week later, BLS will send you the Acknowledgement Latter from Indian High Comm (this letter says the High Comm received your renunciation request). This letter is enough to attend Oat Taking.
5. Go for the Oath Taking at ICA. When they ask for Renunciation Certificate, say that this is pending with India. They will inform you that you need to upload it to MyICA within 3 months.
6. I got my Renunciation Certificate exactly 3 months after applying (Applied 22nd Dec, Received 22nd Mar). I uploaded to MyICA, this was the final step.

Got ur last passport with canceled stamp also with renunciation letter???

Yes, I got the cancelled passport along with Renunciation Certificate (yes March 2025)

Same thing as what raja said. Now im waiting for my ceremony. Also u do not need to be at home as the courier will just drop it off at ur house as no signature is needed. This will be the same day the moment they text u a tracking order. Inside will be all ur docs and surrendered passport u submitted to BLS.

Also if u have done a deed poll when u were a minor u need to do a deed poll again as a major since ur parents have signed it. This was my situation and i was turned away at ICA.

After oath taking at ICA, they will give u a temp slip for IC collection then passport collection the week after u collect IC. U can receive this at singpost.

Have to wait for ceremony for 6-9 months.

Yes have to. Thats the processing time since ur docs go back to india and they do background and verification checks with authorities over there

No bro @Mysticz ,i just completed my oath taking in ica by 9th April.i submitted my renunciation and attended hci interview by March 20.so I get my renunciation by June 20 right bro?

It's 3 months from the date on your acknowledgement letter from the High Comm.
