Thanks! Yes, around 7 months. Perhaps they reduced processing time lately. I heard of both acceptance and rejection outcomes received within 6-8 months.

That sounds very promising. Thanks for letting me know, OP.

Out of curiosity, what was the exact date of your application? If this is indeed true, I am glad that they are finally processing applications within a reasonable time.

Congratulations and I'm very impressed by the fast approval! My application (last year) took about 14 months for approval. Welcome to the Red Passport Club!

Changes since last application, I don't know which ones, if any, are relevant to my application
1. I started working for a GLC, I used to work for an MNC earlier.
2. I sold my HDB and bought a condo
3. Elder one did PSLE, joined a schools under IP programme.

Could either be that all 3 of them had a bearing or none of the above...just proves the point that ICA works in mysterious ways.

...probably explains why some members here then start thinking your application may have gotten approved because you applied on a Thursday and not a Friday, at exactly 2.01 pm and not 2.05 pm, or something along those lines

Congratulations! I also recently received IPA for citizenship. Did you not have to wait 3 days from the date of the IPA before you could log on to sgjourney?

Congrats AussieSG!

In general, all the estimated wait times they give you are the worst case scenario. I was on a clock because I had urgent travel coming up, so at every stage I would just keep trying once every morning and it usually works out much shorter than the official estimate.

So yes, SG Journey should be ready the following morning.

@rajasg Congrats! Hope your citizenship journey is going well. Did your Upload Documents button mysteriously go missing before the application outcome? If so, when did it go missing and how many days after that did you receive the positive outcome? Thank you.

Hello! When you said u received a letter, is it via post or email? I received the acknowledgement the next day by email while the officer said i will receive some documents in 8 working days. Unfortunately my 8 working days end on the day of 4th feb which will be my oath taking ceremony. If CNY was later i would be getting it earlier. Idk if my acknowledgement letter is the one i have to upload on ICA. Please help to clarify

Hi @rajasg Could I check if you applied only for yourself, or for yourself and your family as well? Thanks.
