Just checked my application status in the MyICA app and the option between current stage and next stage disappeared eg no more “while the application is in process, would you like to.”

Is that a positive sign?

Same here. I submitted my husband's application on 31 Aug 2024 so almost 6 mths. But not sure if it's got anything to do with the upcoming maintenance today and tomorrow

Is the classic "Upload Button" missing. Basically a decision is coming up soon.

Not necessarily. All it means is they do not, at the moment, require any additional documents, but if the do they will reactivate the button and send you a email request to upload said requested information.

Just sharing. I applied for PR for my husband using the new system.
Application submitted just before Christmas 2024. One month after applying, I logged in and it states processing application. Then on 10th March when I logged in, it shows pending. 18th March I received the IPA. So in total it took us approximately 3 months to get the approval.
