Scammers operating in Shopee

Post by abbby » Sat, 09 Nov 2024 8:53 am

Please be careful when you buy online on Shopee...
My encounter with Shopee overseas China seller was for a Christmas tree which never arrived yet they would put in remarks item has been delivered. Anyone encountered similar experiences on Shopee ? :(

I rarely order from third party sellers on Shopee, Lazada, or Amazon.

I'm sure there are some good deals / reputable products, but I don't have the time or patience to deal with products not arriving or being sent a pile of crap. All things considered (mainly the potential hassle), it's just not worth trying to save nickels and dimes.

I’ve heard similar stories with Shopee, where sellers mark items as delivered when they aren't. It's always a good idea to check the seller's reviews and contact their support if something goes wrong.

I did check their review now thinking back, they have fake reviews...Have to be careful when it states the vendor is from Çhina. I think another red flag is their user name which is odd Ábsdifsidsh'.... :???: didn't think of it...

Lazada tends to be a bit better at keeping them out I think.

On a couple of occasions, I've received notifications stating 'Delivery Attempted, Unable to Contact,' even though no delivery attempt was made.

I'll have to agree with you on this. I feel Lazada platform is more reliable in terms of their merchants profile. Lazada could have stricter verifications for their merchants.

It happens to me too! Especially with Shopee! I've heard of others receiving empty boxes or rubbish in their parcels...
