put in application for work permit for fdw, now what....

i am doing the work permit process myself. i handed in the application at the MOM on 12/4/05 and now i am wondering what i need to do next--just wait, do i call someone, how to find out status (i checked online but it says there's no info found for my app)etc... the fdw's current employer will be leaving singapore next week and i just want to know if there's anything i should be doing in the meantime or before she leaves...any advice would be appreciated. (i just want to get it right the first time around)
