Something to be alarmed about?

It's been more than 3 weeks since my s-pass application has been filed to MOM but until now, I haven't been issued a foreign ID number yet. When I called MOM to check, they said that my name is not on their system. My employer assured me though that it has been filed. Is it normal for the application not to be encoded after 3 weeks? Help!!!

Relax, they will take more than 3 weeks to process the application. Give them another 3-5 weeks. 8)
