Marital Counselling

Just checking, does marital counselling provide positive benefits to married couple?

It does, cos the counsellor does not personally know the couple so advice given is impartial. And sometimes it's better than discussing it with friends ...

@abbby are you referring this statement for the relationship with Marriage counsellor or our spouse?

As a therapist I can say couple’s therapy will help in break the cycle that leads to anger, frustration, and disconnection, manage conflict in meaningful ways, heal past hurts that happened within the relationship, learn to be seen and heard by one another and establish shared meaning and life goals.
