Buying beauty products on Lazada

Post by abbby » Fri, 13 Sep 2024 1:54 pm

Could there be fakes? because I noticed the prices are much lower than retail some are like 1/4 of the prices of retail.

I tried ordering one item and items looks kind of suspicious, like when I opened the packaging the bottle had a lot of water vapour and when I opened the cap it's like already spilled all over as if It was repackaged before...thoughts?  Freaking me out.

I never buy skin care from e-commerce platform. I do sometimes buy those parfume (with mindset that it must be fake because of the super low price) and some lipstick (only if they stated it's a sample - mini size - hence the low price). I received 1 package during Covid on behalf of my friend - the skin care was sent from HKG (this brand are not available in SG), in the box there were 5 bottles - 2 bottles broken in pieces and no way to claim or refund/return. I told my friend, lesson learnt - never buy skin care from e-commerce platform.

Yes first and last time. Really worrying to be applying it on the face and refunds are a pain..

Some are parallel import from other countries, sometimes i do check the components to see if it is the same.

For things like sun screen where i apply on my body, it still ok, but when it is something that i apply on my face, i will be more willing to spend more money to buy from reputable source.

Even when i buy from shoppee or lazada, i try to buy from sellers or resellers who are registered/located in Singapore for a peace of mind as well as return policy.
