I am a Sinagporean and married an US citizen, residing in USA. I am therefore a USA PR. My son and daughter were born in USA thus holding US citizenship. I was told that I can apply Spore citzenship for my kids and they can choose to give up one citizenship when they are 18 (?) Is this a good idea at all? I am afraid I will get my son in mess when it comes to NS (17 years from now!)...even if he choose to give up Spore citizen later. Or should I just apply for my daughter?I still have families in Spore that I may come back to later in my life and I wanted to make a sound decision now in order not to regret later....Thank you

Don't be stupid, you want your son to curse you when he reaches 16.5 years old ? Lots of Singaporeans would sell their grandmas to be in your position so please don't squander your son's future.
