My son has an adopted Golden Lab (retired SPF Sniffer dog) adopted via their rehoming service for retired K9 dogs. (He has a 5I HDB flat and it's a large dog) Additionally he has a GS pup fully grown now at around 1.5 years old which is there under a "foster agreement" that circumvents the one dog and the size limits as well. He's had the GS now for over a year and it will probably never be rehomed successfully, but the foster arrangement seems to be good nonetheless. The rules are different for landed
property & private
condos. Both are large dogs well over the guidelines but within the laws set out for retired police/military dogs and fostering agreements via proper authorized groups. I'm currently on the waiting list as well for retired SPF retiring Lab if suitable. (But also hesitant due to my wife's condition).
